Bonnie Coppo (Fellows) Lombardi

Bonnie Coppo (Fellows) Lombardi left this world on March 30th, 2017 to reunite with the Lord and loved ones. Born to Robert and Margaret (Newell) Coppo on December 26th, 1949, it may be said that she had a life filled with hard circumstances. She lost her father and mother both early in life, and was also preceded in death by her only brother. However, she also lived a life with much joy and many people who loved her. Bonnie met and married her high school sweetheart, Frank Fellows III shortly after graduating from high school. Married for 23 years, they built a family of four siblings that will forever remain close.

Bonnie worked most of her life as a hairdresser in both Butte and Whitehall. She was loved by her clients to the point that many followed her around long after she was no longer working in the trade, and would insist on coming to the house because no one else could do their hair quite like Bonnie. In her later years, she attended Montana Tech and then worked as a bookkeeper, eventually retiring after working as the office manager for the Machinist's Union.

Bonnie met the love of her life through mutual friends in 1992. Charlie Lombardi was the rock that she needed to keep her grounded, and brought love and laughter into her life. They spent almost 20 years together before Charlie passed away in March of 2011. Together they made a group of good friends and spent time in outings, golfing, traveling and making memories. If you'd asked her, one Bonnie's best memories was the final trip she took with Charlie to Hawaii.

After Charlie passed, Bonnie was never quite the same. She spent her last years trying to find peace in things that would never replace him. As her children, and only surviving close family, we ask that you remember the Bonnie that you loved, the Bonnie that made you laugh, that was a good friend and always part of a good story. She made friends far and wide, and trusted people implicitly. She is back in the arms of her love again, surrounded by friends and family that passed before her, and with her Lord and Savior, whom she spent many last days asking to bring her home. She is finally at peace.

Bonnie Lombardi was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Margaret, her brother Robert Coppo, and her husband Charles "Chuck" Lombardi. She is survived by her children, Holly and Scott Netz, Jenny and Wade Barriger, Jesse and Nicolette Fellows, and Josh Fellows. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Naomi Netz, Brynn Barriger, Noah Netz, and Ian Barriger.

A celebration of life, as Bonnie would have wanted, will be held at the Knights of Columbus Hall on May 6th, 2017, at 1pm.

We ask that any memorial of Bonnie's life be made to the Hays-Morris House, at 24 E. Copper Street, Butte, Montana 59701.
