Following 8th grade graduation, the Jr. High students took a trip to Coeur d’Alene, Idaho with plans to spend a whole day at Silverwood Amusement Park. Arrangements had been made, but the Park neglected to tell the students that they were not open on Fridays.

They made the best of it and went to Rafter Release Water Park. After a few hours of that, Mrs. Coombe took the girls shopping and the guys remained at the Park with Mr. Coombe. The kids were able to spend a few hours at Silverwood the following day before they headed back to Cardwell, arriving home at 1:30am.
