Imerys Talc awards scholarships

Whitehall High School graduates have been chosen to receive the 2017 Imerys Talc Scholarship in the amount of $500 each. They are Colton Noyes and Ann Russell.

Colton is planning on attending the Flathead Valley Community College for Firearm Technology. His plan is to build custom rifles and possibly be a hunting guide. In high school Colton was involved in student council, football, basketball and 4-H. He has been a volunteer with the little guy football program, the local museum and helped with community cleanups.

Ann Russell plans on attending college to be a Veterinary Technician because of her love of animals with horses being her favorite. She has participated in cross country, track and basketball at Whitehall High School. Ann has also been involved in drama, NSHSS and helped to write the school Annual. She was on the Honor Roll all four years of high school.
