Editorial: Plenty to explore at Lewis and Clark Caverns

Every summer thousands of tourists make their way to the Lewis and Clark Caverns outside of Cardwell.

While it's quite the popular destination for visitors, the Caverns are also a great way to spend the day or evening for local residents. Throughout the summer there are numerous programs and presentations, as well as the cave tours where something new can be learned during each trip. During the hotter months of the year the hike to the entrance can be a solid workout followed by relaxing and cooling off during the tour.
