Whitehall Track impressive at 5B Districts

There were many strong individual performances for the Whitehall High School track team at last week's 5B District Meet in Belgrade.

"I thought overall we did well at districts. We qualified a lot of athletes that will be moving onto the divisional meet," head coach Dan Lacey said.

As a team, the Trojans finished fifth with 80 points, two behind fourth-place Boulder. Manhattan won the team title with 124 points.

Lacey said junior Cade Briggs had a great day winning the long jump, placing second in the javelin, and finishing fifth in the triple jump.
