The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office currently has an opening for one full time Detention Officer. The position will perform general detention duties in the Detention Center located in Boulder. Requirements: Post certification preferred but not required. 18 Years of age and a citizen of the United States. Must have or be eligible to obtain a Montana Driver’s License. Must be of excellent moral character with no criminal history. A thorough background investigation will be conducted Must be willing and able to do shift work to include nights, weekends and holidays. Beginning Salary: approximately $19.82 per hour plus benefits. Applications can be obtained at the Jefferson County Dispatch Center or online at jeffersoncounty-mt.gov.
