    Enrollment is now open for the new Kindergarten Readiness Program in Whitehall. The program is for children who are at least four years old by September 10 and will take place during the week from 12:10 p.m. to 3:10 p.m. Whitehall Superintendent Hannah Nieskens said the district is excited to offer another kindergarten readiness opportunity in the community.   • Whitetail Road (S 399) expected to close soon at Little Boulder River

    The Montana Department of Transportation is replacing two pipe culverts carrying the Little Boulder River beneath Whitetail Road (S 399) with one larger box culvert. The work is expected to begin soon and take several weeks to complete. Whitetail Road will be closed between Broken Limb Road and Hot Springs Road while the work is performed.     With a second-place finish at last week's Southern A District Tournament in Three Forks, the Gallatin Valley Outlaws are headed to the State Tournament this week in Lewistown. The Outlaws will open play Thursday, August 6 at 4 p.m. against one seed Glacier.     August is the last month that the Whitehall Rotary Club will be selling engraved tiles at the historic fishpond in the center of town. The fishpond project was started in 2003 as the club's centennial project to help celebrate the 100th anniversary of the founding of Rotary International in 1905.
