It was a busy day for area firefighters last Wednesday. According to Whitehall Volunteer Fire Chief Jeremy Ward, the department responded to three calls September 4, all in the Milligan Canyon area west of Three Forks. For the first time since 2017 area residents will have the opportunity to attend a local gun show. The Whitehall Gun Show is scheduled to take place Friday, September 13 to Sunday, September 15 at the Community Center located at 11. N Division. The Whitehall High School volleyball team bounced back from a conference opening home loss against Townsend Thursday with a four-set victory on the road Saturday in Big Timber. It was a great weekend of results for local high school and junior high rodeo competitors. Six area kids finished in the top ten at last weekend's Whitehall Junior High and High School Rodeo. In the week leading up to Whitehall/Harrison High School's home opener last Friday against Shepherd, head coach Dan Lacey talked to his team about playing with effort energy.
