    Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks has issued a fish consumption advisory for Piedmont Pond, south of Whitehall. The Montana Bureau of Mines and Geology (MBMG) conducted water sampling in the area as a part of their groundwater investigation of the Upper Jefferson Valley.     The rocky road to Ringing Rocks will soon be smoother after Bureau of Land Management road crews finish scraping and leveling troublesome portions of the route. The road to the popular geologic site will be closed through Oct. 9.     Celia Ellen Kloos, 90, of Twin Bridges, Montana passed peacefully away on September 21st, 2020 at the Tobacco Root Mountain Care Center. Celia was born in Whitehall on April 9, 1930, daughter to the late George and Ellen (Stark) Mercer. Celia married her true love, Arthur Kloos in 1974 and they farmed in Waterloo until 1978 when they retired to Twin Bridges.
