At a special meeting in January, Council members Barbara Gagnon, Katy James, Jason Good and Montina Rawson, and Mayor Mary Janacaro Hensleigh were sworn into their positions.     Maxine Hemund left a 99 year legacy of a life well-lived. Born in 1919, Maxine Hemund was raised in a ranching family in Franklin, MT. She was the second-to-youngest in a family of 11 children. Despite growing up during The Depression, her childhood was filled with love and laughter. Her family relocated to the Belgrade area when she was in the second grade.     Gerald (Jerry) Raab, a long-term resident of Billings, passed away Nov. 9, 2018, at the age of 89, in his home, after a short battle with cancer. He was preceded in death by the love of his life, Marijean Beall Raab, who died in March 2000; as well as his parents, Floyd and Amelia (Geise) Raab; and his siblings, Joan and George.     After one of the most storied careers as multi-sport star in Whitehall High School history, senior Max Feight will be heading to the University of Montana. Feight signed a National Letter of Intent last Wednesday to play for the Grizzlies football team. A three-star standout for the Trojans, Feight had a monster junior year for the football team.     The Whitehall High School wrestling team continued their strong start to the season at two events last week. The Trojans sent five wrestlers to a mixer Thursday at Manhattan and won seven of ten matches. Gage McMillan, Jimmy Best, Jamus Dubois, Riley Forcella and Brody Becker each picked up wins for the trojans. Forcella and Becker each won two matches.     With a 51-42 win last Thursday night on the road against Big Timber, the Whitehall High School girls basketball finished the 2018 portion of their schedule with a perfect 6-0 record.
