WHS Interact Club works to make the world a better place

Whitehall High School Interact Club members used the annual Frontier Days celebration as a way to give back.

Members of the club had a booth at the two-day event, and sold old Whitehall High School uniforms as a fundraiser.

Club member and soon to be senior Rabeca Kopf, and Club President Hunter Flynn both said they would be using proceeds to help pay for a girl in the Philippines to attend school. Flynn said they have been sponsoring the girl for several years and she will be a senior this year.

Kopf said the club does a lot of community service and members also get to learn something about the community.

The club, who is partnered with the Whitehall Rotary Club, also does various local projects to the betterment of the high school and town.
