Three fires over holiday weekend

The Whitehall Volunteer Fire Department responded to three fires over the holiday weekend.

According to Fire Chief Jeremy Ward, the first fire the department responded to was Thanksgiving night at La Casa Trailer Park No. 2 in Whitehall. Ward said they were paged at 6:20 p.m., and had seven fire fighters and five trucks at the fire. He said the cause of the fire is still under investigation, and the trailer has mostly external damage.
