Trojans drop season opener

The Whitehall High School boy’s basketball team will look to pick up their first win of the season this Friday at a tournament in Manhattan.

The Trojans opened their season with a 58-47 loss Saturday at Manhattan Christian.

Whitehall head coach Zach McLean said his team has a lot of room for improvement. On the defensive side of the ball, he said they played okay in the half court, but second chance points killed them.

“We got our butts kicked on the glass,” McLean said.
