Whitehall Transportation extends invite

Whitehall Public Transportation is extending an invitation to the Whitehall community to participate in the 2018 Transportation Coordination Plan. Identifying and addressing the needs of our small community is the priority for the Transportation Advisory Committee (TAC) meeting agenda on January 11, 2017 at 2:00. Monthly TAC meetings are held at the Liberty Place, Inc. corporate office conference room and are open to the public.

Whitehall Public Transportation (WPT) is a program operating under Liberty Place, Inc., a 501c3 corporation. WPT services first those with disabilities or are elderly and then the general public. The program focus is first on medical/therapy appointments with trips for other basic necessities such as shopping/recreation, church, education and employment including Vocational Rehabilitation.

An additional meeting will be held February 1, 2017 to approve the final plan. Submission of the 2018 Coordination Plan must be completed by March 1, 2017.
