PETER MOLENDA

Peter Molenda, 86, of Hamilton, passed away on Wednesday, Jan. 11, 2017, surrounded by his family at his home.

He was born to Peter and Anna Molenda, a longtime Whitehall family, on Nov. 30, 1930, in Butte. He graduated from Whitehall High School. Soon after graduation, he married Shirley Humphrey. They began their marriage that lasted nearly 60 years with two nickels. That summer, they lived in a lookout on Richard's Peak in northwest Montana.
