Summer is officially here! The school buses aren’t running and the playground is quiet. The final day of school was NOT quiet and the weather was perfect. Awards were presented for the Declamation Contest. Winner in the Kindergarten was Alexis Redfield; First and Second, Evan Welch; Third and Fourth, Ethan Wock; Fifth and Sixth, Levi Whitehurst; and Seventh and Eighth, Katie Whitehurst. Mrs. Coombe gave Staff Awards; teachers gave Class Awards to deserving students. With the weather being what it was, a water fight ensued and adults as well as the kids were drenched!
