Chamber moving away from Futurity

The Whitehall Chamber of Commerce is looking to move away from the Futurity Event at the annual Frontier Days Celebration in July.

Chamber Executive Coordinator Casey Chase said at a meeting last week that it has become more difficult to work with contractors and while prices are going up for the event, attendance is not.

Chase said they would be looking into doing a more traditional rodeo, ranchers rodeo, or having barrel racing and roping.
