Pictured are the third, fourth, and fifth grades at the Cardwell School in 1960-61. Do you recognize them? In the front row is Carol Shaw, Jim Sacry, Debbie Hemund and Laurie Taylor. Middle row has a partial view of someone we can't tell who she is. Next, is Linda Buie, Judy Pankovich, Ed Armstrong and David Stepan. The back row has Carol Ann Sacry, Gay Armstrong and Barbara Ballard. The teacher is Helen Norville. Mrs. Norville taught the third, fourth and fifth grades many years at Cardwell. Because of howling winds, blowing snow and frigid temperatures, the Cardwell School Board agreed to cancel school on Monday, President's Day. That is a very rare happening. As a result, the Live Wax Museum is rescheduled for next Monday, February 26th, from 1:30 until 3:30. There will still be an opportunity to buy baked goods and/or contribute to the students' project to help with the Centennial celebration.
