Season ends for Trojans

The season has come to an end for the Whitehall High School boys basketball team.

Entering the 5B District Tournament as the three seed, the Trojans won two of their first three games before losing an elimination game 48-41 to fourth seeded Manhattan.

Whitehall opened the tournament last Thursday with a hard fought 56-44 win over sixth seeded Broadwater County High School.

Head Coach Zach McLean said while it wasn't their best-played game of the season, his team fought hard and battled through foul trouble.
