Districts hire 9

There will be several new faculty members during the 2018-19 school year in the Whitehall School Districts.

Superintendent John Sullivan recently reported nine new hires, including the hiring of Kurtis Koenig as the new Whitehall Elementary Principal. Joining Koenig in the elementary will be new kindergarten teacher Lynsey Moen, and 2nd grade teacher Miranda Foley.

Former elementary principal Britt McLean will remain with the district in a teaching position.

Katie Menig has been hired to teach middle school English, Christine Todd was hired to teach high school special education, and Zach Kozicky was hired as the new Whitehall High School Science Teacher.

Sullivan said English teacher Caitlin Chiller has left the district and they are currently interviewing for the vacant position.

Other hires include James Farrar as a custodian, Sage Hengst as the high school head volleyball coach, and Kyla Simon as the high school assistant volleyball coach.
