Calvin D. Burrows

Calvin D. Burrows, age 87, formerly of Whitehall died December 23, 2018 at Butte, Montana.

Calvin was born January 5, 1931 at Colorado Springs, Colorado to John and Ada (Fletcher) Burrows. He was raised in Ivy Wild, Colorado and graduated from high school in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Calvin then served in the Air Force. Upon his discharge from the service he returned to Colorado where he worked for the Guernsey Survey Company as a surveyor. He also was a partner in ranching with his brother, Ray. He and his brother Ray moved to Wisdom, Montana in the 1970s where they continued ranching together.

Calvin loved his horses and was a musician playing the guitar.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister Ava, and a nephew Lee.

Survivors include his son Jim, his brother Ray, nephew John and niece Vivian.

Cremation has taken place and there will be no services.
