Headliners announced for Headwaters Country Jam

The lineup has been announced for the 2019 Headwaters Country Jam near Cardwell.

The event is scheduled to take place from Thursday, June 13 to Saturday, June 15 at "The Bridge" and will include headlining acts Big and Rich, Kelsea Ballerini, and Rodney Atkins.

Townsquare Media Director of Events Sally Lidinsky said they are really excited to have a great mix of up and coming artists and country superstars at the 2019 Headwaters Country Jam.

"There are more big-name acts than ever before. We believe there is truly something for everyone," she said.

The 2018 festival was the biggest in history and Lidinsky said they owe that to their fans.

"The fans have mentioned they believe the lineup gets better each year and our prices continue to be affordable, even for students. Overall, camping is a huge draw for our fans. They look forward to planning weekend getaways with their friends and family year after year," she said. "Each year we find large groups of people celebrating bachelor and bachelorette parties, graduations, getaways, and family reunions. We're excited this event has becoming a tradition for so many people, especially those in Montana. In recent years, we've drawn a significant amount of guests from out of state who are looking for a country music experience in a picturesque location. We can't think of a better place to be if you love great music and even better views."

Big and Rich shot to the top of the charts with their triple platinum debut album "Horse of a Different Color" which featured the massive country hit "Save a Horse (Ride a Cowboy)" and had four straight top 40 singles.

Their second album "Comin to your City" sold over a million records and debuted at number seven on the Billboard 200 list. The title track was featured as the intro to ESPN's popular College Gameday program.

Ballerini released her debut album "The First Time" and was nominated for best new artist at the 2017 Country Music Association Awards. Her 2016 hit "Peter Pan" reached number one on the US Country Charts as well as the US Country Airplay list. Her 2017 song "Legends" reached number one on the US Country airplay list. Her 2019 album "Unapologetically" has been nominated for a Grammy for Best Country Album.

Atkins is the 2006 winner of the Academy of Country Artists award for Top New Male Vocalist and four straight songs from his album "If You're Going Through Hell" reach number one on the US Country charts.

Other acts in 2019 include Mark Chesnutt, LANCO, Michael Ray, Tyler Rich, Walker Hayes, the Devon Worley Band, Rachel Lipsky, Lyssa Coulter, Jessica Lynn and Annie Brobst.

Tickets are on sale for both the performances and camping and can be found at http://www.headwaterscountryjam.com.
