Edsall benefit Saturday, April 27

Whitehall area residents have long been known for their giving natures and helping out those in need. The community will once again come together this Saturday with the Jason Edsall Benefit scheduled at the Community Center.

The event has been organized to raise money for Edsall who is currently receiving treatment for bile duct cancer and is unable to work. Edsall is employed by Cliff's Automotive and is married with three younger daughters.

The April 27 benefit is scheduled to start at 3 p.m. with a Spaghetti Feed Dinner. The cost is $7 for a plate or $30 for a family of 5 or less. The dinner will run until 6 p.m.

The benefit will also include a live and silent auction.

Some of the auction items include trips, guns, artwork, a fishing rod, cornhole set and wood work.

The live auction is scheduled to start at 7 p.m., with the silent auction wrapping up after.
