Shakespeare in the Park August 29 at Whitehall baseball fields

Whitehall area residents will get to enjoy "The Merry Wives of Windsor" next week.

The 2019 Montana Shakespeare in the Park performance is scheduled for Thursday, August 29 at 6 p.m. at the Whitehall baseball fields.

Whitehall Chamber President Melissa Jenkins said it is very exciting for the event to return and what should be a nice location for those in attendance.

"The baseball field should give people a lot of room and a comfortable spot to watch what is sure to be another great performance. Year in and out they do a great job and it is fun night for Whitehall," she said.

The event is free of charge and box dinners are available from Red Apron Catering and include chicken salad on a croissant, fruit, bottle of water and delicious dessert and are $10 each. Please contact the Chamber Office at 287-2260 or whitehallmtchamber@gmail.com with the number of box dinners requested.

The deadline to order is Monday, August 26.

The Merry Wives of Windsor

Merry Wives of Windsor will be directed by Guest Director Marti Lyons and will bring a night of laughs to audiences.

Shakespeare in the Park

Since 1973, Shakespeare in the Parks has brought free, professional productions of Shakespeare and other classics to mostly rural and underserved communities. All performances are offered at no cost (with the exception of the Sweet Pea Festival) in local parks and public spaces, making them accessible to all.
