Trojans squads fall to Big Timber

The Whitehall High School girls basketball team will look to bounce back from their first loss of the season with road games this week at Manhattan and Twin Bridges.

In their lone game last week, the Trojans (5-1, 2-1 5B) fell 63-46 at Big Timber. The Sheepherders would come out of the gates strong and take a 17-8 lead at the end of the first quarter and 35-19 lead into the half.

Whitehall Head Coach Kelly Nieskens said Big Timber came out aggressive and outplayed them.

"Once you get behind on a good team like that you need everything to fall your way and we just weren't able to close that...
