Lady Trojans advance at Divisional Tournament

The Whitehall High School girls basketball team is moving on at the Southern B Divisional Tournament. The Lady Trojans used a balanced attack Wednesday night to pick up a 61-51 play-in win over Huntley Project. Whitehall will now move on to the double elimination bracket and an 8 p.m. Thursday matchup against top-seeded Colstrip.

Following the game, Head Coach Kelly Nieskens said is team kept fighting all night and was able to keep a comfortable lead.

"We knew if we kept taking care of the basketball things were going to go our way," he said. "That's how you win big games."
