In-County Rodeo this weekend

The Jefferson County Rodeo Association is hosting a three-day event this week.

The In-County Rodeo is free of charge and scheduled to take place August 28 to 30 at the Jefferson County Fairgrounds/Recreation Park in Boulder.

The event was scheduled after COVID-19 restrictions led to the cancellation of both the Jefferson County Fair and NRA Rodeo.

This week's event will kick off August 28 at 5 p.m. with MBHA approved barrel racing. Peewee, Youth, & Open is scheduled for 6 p.m.

It will be a busy day Saturday with a parade scheduled for 2 p.m. on Main Street Boulder and an In-County rodeo at 5 p.m. Also, on Saturday is a Law Enforcement Appreciation event scheduled for 3 p.m. at the Gazebo.

The final day will host the Anika McCaluley Memorial Kids' Rodeo at 10 a.m.

Social distancing and masks will be required at the three-day event.
