Dear Editor: Response to Gerald Johnson Letter #1

Dear Editor,

This is in response to Gerald Johnson’s comments on gun control. Guns don’t kill people. People kill people. They use knives, their hands, etc., etc. According to Jeremiah 17:9, “The heart is deceitful above all things and desperately wicked.” Another Scripture from the mouth of Jesus: “For out of the heart proceed evil thoughts murders, adulteries, fornications, (immoral behavior) thefts, false witness (lies) and blasphemies.” Matthew 15:19. It’s man’s heart that is the issue.
