Dear Editor: Response to Truck Driver's Wife #2

Dear editor,

Dear editor; to begin, I would like to say I think the Editor of the Whitehall Ledger is doing an outstanding job on covering the news, events, and all points of view in a professional manner!

As for the wife of a truck driver (I will leave my personal feelings aside)... As a local business owner on Legion Avenue, I agree that semi trucks and automobiles need to slow down on Legion. There are too many children, elderly and businesses that utilize parking on both sides of the street!

I am also an active CDL holder who drives through small Communities. Having the ability to stop if anything was to come out into the path of my truck is due to not speeding and going usually under the speed limit so that I can stop safely if there is a need! (Reminder the limit is the maximum speed you should go!)

There is no need to attack someone for their point of view, as you did in your letter to the Editor! We are small community that cares about every aspect of our community!
