We Are HER Seeking Donations to 'GIVE BIG'

Give Big Gallatin Valley, the largest giving day in the State of Montana, is a 24-hour celebration of giving that supports more than 200 nonprofits throughout the area. In just six years, donors have raised nearly $6 million for important local non-profit causes. Last year alone, 5,782 donors raised more than $1.8 million for 195 organizations during the event.

We Are HER (Healed, Empowered, Restored) has been featured in several articles in the Ledger, detailing their support of domestic violence and sexual assault survivors through the written and verbal communication of their stories.

We Are HER has set an ambitious goal of raising $5,000 during Give Big. That’s enough to host a five-day wellness retreat for ten survivors in Paradise Valley, MT this fall.

Because this is the first year participating in Give Big, We Are HER has a unique opportunity to win additional money from the One Valley Foundation for having the most DONORS, not DOLLARS. Because of HER’s global reach of survivors, as well as with your help in donating and/or sharing this information, We Are HER is confident this goal of additional monies will be obtainable.

There are two ways to donate:

1. Mail a check with “GIVE BIG” noted in the memo line and dated for May 6th or 7th. Checks may be mailed to 1042 MT Highway 69, Cardwell, MT 59721 c/o We Are HER.

2. Donate online May 6th or 7th at http://www.givebiggv.org/organizations/we-are-her.
