Seven Locals Headed to State High School Rodeo Finals

The Montana State High School Finals Rodeo week kicks off this Tuesday in Baker, Montana with the Queen contest, and horse competition begins Thursday for the complete first round of all events, ending the day with the PRCA Xtreme Broncs event.

Seven area high school students and recent graduates will be participating in the Finals, several in multiple events. Participants could go into events with as many as 70 points; see below for point standings and ranking in the state.

BRYNNA WOLFE: 8th in state for barrel racing with 65 points, 6th in state for pole bending with 65 points.

KASSIDY DUNAGAN: 34th in state for barrel racing with 28.50 points; 20th in state for breakaway roping with 52 points; 13th in state for goat tying with 59 points.

DALANEY SCAFANI: 43rd in state for barrel racing with 18 points; 12th in state for breakaway roping with 56 points, 37th in state for goat tying with 12 points; 33rd in state for pole bending with 32 points.

HANNAH HAVERLAND: 53rd in state for barrel racing with 7 points; 29th in state for breakaway roping with 35 points; 38th in state for pole bending with 30 points.

JACY JOHNSON: 20th in state for breakaway roping with 52 points, 16th in state for pole bending with 52 points.

EVAN WAGNER: 5th in state for team roping with 67 points; 32nd in state for tie down with 33 points.

GARRIS ROBERTSON: 21st in state in team roping with 61.50 points; 11th in state for tie down with 61 points.
