Montana State Park of the Week Logan State Park

Logan State Park was established in 1967 to support local outdoor recreation like water sports and camping.

Logan State Park is located in northwest Montana. With frontage on the north shore of Middle Thompson Lake, Logan is heavily forested with western larch, Douglas Fir, and Ponderosa Pine.

A channel forms off the Upper lake, and it connects Middle and Lower Thompson lakes. This state park is situated in the middle of the 3,000-acre Thompson Chain of Lakes State Park.

Attractions include swimming, boating, camping, horseshoe pit, water skiing, and good fishing.
