Serving Southern Jefferson County in the Great State of Montana

Jerry Beckman, 77

Jerry Beckman was born July 17, 1944, in Wausau, Wisconsin. He went to be with his Lord and Savior on November 11, 2021. He passed at home with his wife Carol by his side.

Jerry and Carol married, then moved from Arizona to the little town of Whitehall, which they had fallen in love with. They lived in Whitehall for seven special years before Jerry's passing. Both retired, Jerry enjoyed fishing with his partner Curt at the Ruby and Harrison. Big fish stories were told, but they all got away! A certain fish is out there somewhere wearing his sunglasses.

He was fun-loving, complimentary, tender hearted and had a kind word for many. A friend said he would say "Hi beautiful" when she was going thru cancer treatment, he made her feel special even though so sick. Jerry had a big heart to put a smile on one's face!

He loved to repurpose items and repurpose he did, to usable items from scraps that people threw away. The dump was his source for treasures.

He always had a project, the garage was his workspace. Jerry was an excellent home builder as well, finishing our home and giving Carol her own Art House to create in.

Jerry always had a smile and a funny comment to share. He could make a friend quickly and easily. He loved his Betsy dog, Mikey the cat and, most of all his wife, Carol.

He became a true servant of the Lord and helped others in need.

Jerry is survived by his wife Carol, son Ted (Hilary), grandchildren Amelia and Oliver. Siblings Corrine, Keith, and Sally. Jerry, you will be missed by many.

You were the love of my life Jerry. I'm proud to have been your wife for seven years. I miss you dearly.
