Canyon Ferry Reservoir Public Comment Period Now Open

The Canyon Ferry Reservoir public comment period is now open and will continue through June 8. Federal Lands Recreation Enhancement Act (FLREA) allows federal agencies to collect and retain user fees for overnight camping, group use shelters, and special use permits. If FLREA is instituted, existing fees from users of reservoir facilities will stay at Canyon Ferry and be used exclusively for local improvements instead of returning the fees to the U.S. Department of the Treasury.
