Last Thursday we had a truly extraordinary program as Cindy Buscarow shared her family's Holocaust history with a full audience. There was silence as she spoke of her family's attempt to rescue her grandparents and great-grandparents, followed by their realization that they could not escape. They were fully aware of what was happening to the German Jews in 1943 and what their fate would be.
