WHS Drama Looks for Several Props for Upcoming Play

The WHS drama club members are hard at work preparing for The View From Sunset Towers, which will be performed on March 15 and 16 at 6:30 PM in the Whitehall High School multi-purpose room. Tickets will be $5.

Comprised of interwoven tales of love and courage, The View From Sunset Towers is a compelling journey through the memories and dreams of an aging and fascinating ensemble, told from their homes at Sunset Towers.

You'll meet Clarence, who challenges Elvis Presley to one-arm push-up contests on the catwalks high above the sound stages of MGM; Doris and Sparky, who summon the courage to travel around the world instead of waiting submissively for their lives to end; Helen, the drive-through bank teller who falls into obsessive love with one of her customers; Camilla, whose loss of her husband leads her to rearrange their entire home to make it "hers" and many other residents at Sunset Towers.

The View from Sunset Towers will resonate with those of all ages, as each character relives the moments most powerful to them in their lives.

The cast is searching for the following items to complete their wardrobe and props:

• wheelchair

• 2 park-like benches

• old milk bottle

• vinyl records

• Vietnam group photo

• the beginnings of a scarf being knitted, along with knitting tools.

• travel souvenirs (leis, location tshirts, etc.)

All props will be returned to the lender in as perfect of condition as able. If you are interested in loaning any items, please contact Liz Pullman at 406-498-3807 or whledger@gmail.com.
