    Sixty Whitehall children in grades K-5 participated in Whitehall Elementary School's Summer Program which was in session three days a week from June 24 to August 4. The program, funded through the 21st Century Community Learning Center Grant, was more than an extension of the school year.     Last week, a large group gathered at the Whitehall Senior Center for the Red Hat Day Brunch. The monthly event is just one of the many activities at the center. Last Friday's brunch had 21 in attendance, including two out of town guests visiting family.     The pavilion at the Group Use Area at the Lewis and Clark Caverns got some sprucing up thanks to the hard work of a local business. According to Caverns State Park Manager Rhea Armstrong, 17 employees from Imerys Talc in Three Forks volunteered a total of 37.5 combined hours scraping and painting the pavilion.
