Serving Southern Jefferson County in the Great State of Montana

Madison County Fair Underway

It's once again time for the Madison County Fair in Twin Bridges.

The popular local event starts Wednesday, August 10, and will have an action packed schedule that runs until Sunday, August 16.

Much like many county fairs across the country, the Madison County Fair will have many 4-H and FFA events and exhibits.

Katherine Smith, Ag Education and 4-H Program Assistant for Madison and Jefferson Counties, said kids spend their entire year preparing for the fair.

" The fair is the main event... the big show... a time for everyone to show off what they have been working on all year. A time for true winners to shine through," Smith said. "It is always great to see all of the kids and their many projects at the fair each year. If you follow the kids or fair closely, it is fun to see how everyone improves their skills each year."
