McClafferty win Senate District 38

Democrat Edith (Edie) McClafferty of Butte won the race for the open seat in Montana Senate District 38. McClafferty defeated Republican Glenn J. Rosenbaum by a vote of 6,063 to 5,236.

The November 9 issue of the Whitehall Ledger did not have the vote listed outside of Jefferson County. The Ledger apologizes to Senator McClafferty and congratulates her on her hard earned victory.
