The Whitehall High School Speech and Debate team participated in their first meet of the season last week in Townsend. The Speech, Drama, and Debate team attended their first meet on Saturday November 19th in Townsend. The team did well with tough competition from schools in classes AA, A, B, and C also attending.
Whitehall had one finalist, but head coach Cathy Kopf said it was a great meet for introducing all the competitors to the sport. Evelyn Frankenstein placed seventh in Spontaneous Oral Interpretation.
