The k-1 afterschool program has been lucky enough to experience Osmo. Osmo is a program that runs with your I-pad.

Osmo coding is designed to teach students beginning coding and problem solving skills. This can build up to online coding later on.

Students use magnetic blocks with commands such as run, jump and grab to guide Awbie, a small monster, around to collect strawberries.

The blocks allow Students to loop chunks of code together. The students love this simple game because it can be as simple or as complex as they want.
