Whitehall splits Tuesday with rival Jefferson

The Whitehall High School boy’s basketball held off a scrappy Jefferson High School team in rivalry action last night in Boulder.

Playing without senior leader Colton Noyes who missed the game due to sickness, the Trojans (5-1, 3-0 5B) overcame a late deficit for the 51-47 victory.

Trailing by one with under a minute left, senior Braden Larsen hit a layup to put the Trojans up 48-47. It was their first score since a 9-0 run that had given Boulder their first lead of the second half.
