Rotary Club distributes dictionaries

Third graders in Cardwell and Harrison grade schools received their very own dictionary this month from Whitehall Rotarians Sheri Johnson and Karen Burtch. Whitehall third graders received their dictionaries from Rotarians Arlene Weber and Joan Jones in December.

The dictionaries provide each child with more than just work descriptions. The books include a variety of historical and geographical information about the United States and the world. Nearly 11,000 third graders throughout Montana receive the dictionaries from the various Rotary clubs in the state.
