Whitehall High School Graduation Sunday

The Whitehall High School Class of 2017 graduation is scheduled to take place Sunday, May 28 at 2 p.m. in the Varsity Gym.

The Valedictorian for the class is Braden Larsen. The Salutatorian for 2017 is Rabeca Kopf.

The ceremony will begin with the processional from the high school and middle school band under the direction of Janet Heilig. Senior Rachel Smith will next perform the National Anthem, followed by a welcome from High School Principal Hannah Nieskens.

Senior Class President Hunter Flynn will then address the crowd, followed by the presentation of scholarship awards by teacher and student council advisor Rodney Head. This will be followed by the presentation of the salutatorian by Nieskens, the presentation of the Golden W Award by athletic director Dan Lacey, and the presentation of the valedictorian by Nieskens.

After the presentation of flowers, seniors Colton Noyes and Kaya Welch will take to the stage for the annual senior slideshow.

The Class of 2017 will then be awarded their diplomas from Whitehall School Trustees Paul Shaw and Sue Pullman.

The ceremony will conclude with closing remarks from Nieskens and the Recessional.

Romerio, Ann Marie Russell, Imanica Kiani Sepulveda, Jacob Logan Shepherd, Andrew J. Simon, Kadin E. Smith, Katelyn Noel Smith, Rachel Ann Smith, Catelyn S. Stone, Frank Leroy Sweet, Kaya C. Welch and Bryn Kristine Welker.
