Rotary Harvest Dance set for October 29

The Whitehall Rotary Club will host their annual Harvest Dance on Sunday, October 29 at the Whitehall Community Center.

The door will open at 4:20 p.m., music will begin at 4:30 p.m. and last until 7:30 p.m. Admission is $10 per person and a family of four or more (two adults and children under 18) is $35. This includes a meal that will be served from 5:00 to 6:30 p.m. The meal includes a bratwurst (also, a limited selection of all beef, chicken or vegetarian options will be offered), potato salad, cupcake, and a beverage. There will be free refills on coffee. All other additional beverages will be $1.

The music will be performed by the Little Boulder River Band from Boulder, Montana. They provide a very good mix of music for dancing and listening. Everyone is encouraged to dress for Halloween; but, costumes are not required. This will be the second year that a Halloween costume contest will be held for those attending the dance. Awards will be given for the best adult, best youth (junior high through high school), and best children costumes.

Proceeds from the dance will help support local club projects that include Dictionary/Reference Books and a bicycle safety class for third graders, sponsoring the high school Interact Club, scholarships for graduating seniors, and highway cleanup. The club meets on most Monday evenings at 6:15 p.m. in the fellowship hall at the Trinity United Methodist Church.
