The Whitehall Ledger - Serving Southern Jefferson County in the Great State of Montana

A total of four candidates filed prior to the June 17 deadline for the six open seats on the Whitehall Town Council.

Incumbent Logan Reiff was the lone candidate to file in Ward 1 and incumbent Katy James was the lone candidate in Ward 2. Incumbent Roy McBride and Maxine Samuelson both filed for the two open seats in Ward 3.

According to town hall officials, the open seats in Wards 1 and 2 would be filled by write in votes.
