The Jefferson County Sheriff's Department is continuing their search for an inmate who escaped from custody late Friday.

According to the Sheriff's Office, Tory Gee escaped October 11 from the Jefferson County Detention Center at 10:25 p.m.

Gee, 27, had been in custody since August 17 when he was arrested on a Madison County warrant for alleged assault with a weapon.

Early Saturday, the Department reported a stolen vehicle in Boulder. The vehicle is a 1991 Chevrolet S10 pickup, blue in color, license plate number 51-1565B. If seen, do not approach and call 911 immediately.
