Sip and Shop Local Event Saturday

This Saturday is a wonderful opportunity to find some handmade gifts at the Ranching Fiber Tradition Sip and Shop local event in Whitehall.

Sponsored by Ranching Tradition Fiber, the event is scheduled November 30 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at 12 Ranch Land Road.

Organizer Kami Noyes has seen similar events in the past and thought she would give it a go locally.

"There are a lot of small businesses ran out of homes. People sometimes just miss out on those great locally made gifts," she said. "So, this is an opportunity to shop local and come see what myself and others do."

Sip and Shop Local will feature Jewelry by Lacee, Hand Embroidered Towels and Note Cards by Miki, Handmade Soaps from Mrs. Hartman's Farmhouse Market, Homegrown Wool, Yarns, Knitted Scarves, Wool Snowmen, Dryer Balls, Hand-painted Silk Scarves by Ranching Tradition Fiber (made by Noyes) and notebooks and stickers with artwork made by Asha Noyes, a senior at Whitehall High School.

"When you shop local you are supporting your friends and neighbors. That is a great thing all around," Noyes said.
