Jefferson Valley Museum: Meeting & Program Announced

The annual meeting of the Jefferson Valley Museum will be on Thursday, April 8th,7:00 PM, at the Star Theater in Whitehall. The featured program this year will be “The Tebay Legacy” featuring the story of John Tebay who built one of the first homes in the valley. Norm Tebay and members of the Tebay family have put together a very interesting history about the important role that John, his brother, and their descendants have played in the development of Whitehall and the valley.

Based on current meeting restrictions, attendance will be limited to 50 people. To reserve your seat or seats, call the museum at 287-7813 before April 8th and leave a message with your name and number of seats requested. People are asked to wear a face shield or mask while in the theater. The meeting and program are open to museum supporters and the public. There is no cost to attend. The museum will open for its 26th season on May 29, 2021.
