Jefferson Valley EMS & Rescue recently purchased two tracked stair chairs for carrying patients down flights of stairs. Funds for the purchase were a combination of a $2000 grant from Northwest Farm Credit Services and $1000 gift from Sandy Kraha. Special thanks go to Sandy Carey for assisting with the writing of the NW Farm Credit Services grant. The stair chairs keep patients and care providers safer than other means of carrying patients down stairs.
